DIVERSITY AS A SOURCE OF WEALTH

Appointments that from 14th to 18th November brought the journey of Journey in Italy. .. from the roots of the Mediterranean to the beating heart of the East: Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Beijing.

First stop, the symposium on November 14th, at the 8 e ½ Restaurant of the three-starred Chef Umberto Bombana in Hong Kong. Then it continued on to Shenzhen, with a symposium on November 16th at the Paletto Restaurant of Chef Lorenzo Prandi. Finally, the capital, Beijing, with a dinner by the 1 Michelin star Chef Andrea Susto at the Opera Restaurant on November 18th,

The events will once again be sponsored by the world of institutions – from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to ICE, to the Mediterranean Diet Foundation, to the Milan Polytechnic, ADI and the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation – with the presence of ambassadors, general consuls, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and of the individual sponsoring institutions, journalists, entrepreneurs and sponsors at each of the evenings.

During the three evenings, the Mediterranean Diet offered a stimulating starting point to explore how its principles can be integrated into the lifestyle of cultures other than the Italian one, but also how the excellence of Chinese cuisine can be integrated into this diet. A journey therefore in the name of exchange and sharing.

Hit Pause is part of Journey in Italy, inspired by the Grand Tour, the journey that young Europeans undertook between the 17th and 19th centuries across Europe to Italy to educate themselves in art, philosophy, cuisine and beauty. Each of our projects – be it architecture, art, food or design – is born from an Italian gaze that does not close, but expands and refines thanks to dialogue with the world.
