Francesca Boragno, gallery owner and owner of the historic Boragno bookshop in Busto Arsizio (VA), which Journey in Italy she took care of the cultural aspect, she declares enthusiastic for the success of the event: < a journey in Italy through the flavours, scents and essences that speak and tell of this fantastic country >>. The idea for Journey in Italy is to unite a transversal culture made of emotions, which are then found in the stories of the books, in a vastness of different volumes and genres.
Journey in Italy It will also be an opportunity to bring the history of the Italian Dream – An Italian Dream Story – Beyond National Borders. “People See, People Do”: if people see and understand, their way of acting will also change. Thus, the event will be proposed abroad as one dialogue space and exchange on food understood as “sustainable wellbeing” a container of culture, art and savoir-faire.
The Italy of beauty, goodness, well-made and sustainable at Residenza Vignale represent the 5 Icons of Italian Cuisine in the world: Wine, Coffee, Bread, Pasta and Ice Cream, together with the 5 Emotions of Emotional Intelligence, happiness, dream, sharing, balance, empathy, and transforming into "Explorers of Emotions".
Journey in Italy will cross national borders, with a calendar of events, designed to tell Italy in an original way by combining food, lifestyle, design, fashion, color and sensoriality. The core of the events will also be a dialogue between the Mediterranean diet and international cuisines. To mediate this intercultural exchange, some testimonial exceptional: the Starred chef Heinz Beck and Master Ice Cream Makers Luca Rizzardini and Alessandro Croce, baking scientist Carlo di Cristo and Matteo Cunsolo, President of the Richemont Club Italia, who will distribute I'MPASTA, patented by Antonella Bondi, with the Mix Magico baking preparation. Journey in Italy It thus becomes much more than an event: it is the translation of a thought that places man at the centre, his uniqueness, his dignity and his sensitivity, to counter an increasingly fast and superficial world.
Journey in Italy – The Grand Tour starts from the desire to enhance the concept of family, of “grandmother”, first of all, that in every family holds an invaluable heritage of traditions, recipes, sincere flavors. An authenticity that, leaving the domestic walls, is found today in the Osterie, places often very simple and genuine that have always guarded the tradition of regional cuisine, which in Italy is extremely varied and complex.
Not only respect for traditions, but also the future and sustainability: in this, Italy is in a privileged position with a healthy Mediterranean diet. The Italian tradition is based on the valorization of poor foods, in addition to refined ones, transformed in the expert hands of excellent chefs.
